If this is your week…

You're not bad at business. The books just stopped telling the truth about your business.

You don’t trust the number

Cash in the bank and the P&L never agree, so every decision feels like a coin flip.

The backlog has a gravity of its own

Every month you promise “we’ll catch up.” Every month the pile gets heavier.

Tax season becomes a hostage situation

You pay for cleanup under deadline pressure instead of on your terms.

The Small Business Books Cleanup Package

Fixed-fee cleanup for owners who want numbers they can run a business on.

Full diagnostic review

Every account reconciled and every anomaly documented before we change a thing.

Catch-up categorization

The backlog cleared with industry-correct categories, not a generic chart of accounts.

Clean handoff report

A before/after summary and simple monthly rhythm so it stays clean.

If our assessment can’t show you exactly what’s wrong and what it costs to fix, the assessment costs you nothing. No obligation either way.

What decides the price, if nobody will quote me yet?

A figure shouted before anyone has seen the pile is a guess, and a guess becomes an argument at the end. So the quote waits until the size of the unfinished work is visible. That wait is not a stall. It is how a fixed price stays fixed.

What changes the size is ordinary and specific. How much of the year was never tied out. How many logins and cards pour into the same company. Whether money arrives as clean pairs or as one blended lump that has to be split. Whether payroll taxes and the tax you collected left a trail when they were paid, or vanished from the operating account with no record at all. A compact, current stack is not the same job as a long silent stretch. The price follows the stack in front of you, not a printed menu.

Fixed means the clock is retired. After the size is known, the price is for that size. Curiosity does not raise it. A slow afternoon does not raise it. You can say yes or no while the figure is still a choice, not a bill that already happened. If a second company was buried in the login, that gets named before more sorting, and the figure is redrawn against the real stack. It is not sprung on you after the labor is finished.

Once you have said yes, the rhythm is a slice, not a marathon. You hand over one slice of downloads. Questions return only where you alone know what a line was: a personal transfer, a supply run, a loan. You answer those lines. That slice gets tied out. The next slice is the next open period. You always know which period is on the desk, and you are not asked to live inside the whole year in one sitting.

The form is how the sizing starts. Bring the pile. A budget speech is optional to the point of useless.

Common questions

Why is there no price before someone sees the file?

Because the price follows the unfinished pile: open months, the accounts that feed the file, and whether deposits and taxes were recorded or only paid. A number before that picture is a guess. The quote comes after the picture, and then it stays put.

What does a fixed fee protect me from?

From being billed by the clock. Once the size of the pile is known, the price is for that pile. A question does not add to it, and a long day does not add to it. You decide yes or no with the number in front of you.

What does a week of the work actually feel like?

You hand over one batch of statements. Questions come back only where you have to say what a payment was. You answer those. That batch gets tied to the bank, and the next batch is the next open month. You always know which month is on the table.

How far behind is too far behind?

We’ve rebuilt books from bank statements alone going back multiple years. There is no “too messy.”

Will you judge the mess?

Never. Messy books are a symptom of a busy business. Fixing them is literally what we do all day.

What happens after the cleanup?

You get a simple monthly closing rhythm. Keep it in-house or have us maintain it. Your choice, no lock-in.
